The Reality of Mental Health

Mental health is India's most underfunded public health crisis. Millions suffer silently not because they don't want help, but because they don't know where to get it, or they feel they can't afford it, or they are afraid of what people will think.

Seeking counselling is not weakness. It is an act of self-awareness.

The Gap Counselling Fills

With only 9,000 psychiatrists for 1.4 billion people, community counsellors are essential. CBT has been validated in large Indian trials to be highly effective.

"At KAAIZEN, we are one small part of closing this gap. One session, one student, one family at a time."

A Note from the Founder

"I have sat with people in their lowest moments. What stayed with me was not just their pain, but how long they had carried it alone, blaming fate, relying on the wrong solutions, and never realizing that what they were experiencing had a name, and more importantly, a way forward. This is what lack of awareness does, it keeps people suffering in silence. KAAIZEN exists to change that. One person, one conversation, one small step at a time. That is why I am here."

— Arun, Founder, KAAIZEN
